On April 11, 1997, a visionary concept was conceived: to establish a dedicated media platform for the Latino community of North Carolina, one characterized by a high degree of professionalism, an unwavering commitment to treating its readers with respect and dignity, and as an effective platform for businesses aiming to serve our community. This noble aspiration of service gave birth to La Noticia. Over the course of 26 years, we have grown in tandem with the Latino community, initially as a print newspaper in the Charlotte area, and then expanding to encompass western North Carolina, the Triangle, and the Triad region. La Noticia has evolved into the premier Spanish-language newspaper offering the most comprehensive local coverage in North Carolina. Throughout this journey, we have garnered the trust and loyalty of Latino families across North Carolina.
